The other day I posted 29th Street on my Facebook page and was blown away by all of the responses and incredible comments.
My favorite time of year here in San Diego is when the light becomes warm and soft, the air crisp and the north swells start to pick up. Two of my surf classics, 29th Street and Del Mar Rivermouth were shot during those warm Santa Anas.
Sea Glass was shot in Carlsbad on a clear fall day. (I love this image in a space that requires a vertical piece.)
This collection was designed to remind us to find beauty in the moment — for it is fleeting.
I hope you enjoy these images as much as I did capturing them!

29th Street Del Mar – Feel the spray of a wave as it breaks in Del Mar, as the sun sparkles on the water. The offshore winds delight the surfers on this magical day captured from the beach at 29th Street.

Sea Glass – a small wave breaks at dawn’s first light on Ponto Beach in Carlsbad. The rising sun is captured on the wave’s face as it rhythmically pushes to shore.

Del Mar Rivermouth – Experience the pure joy of riding a wave while your friends cheer you on! A best-selling cover shot from Surfing magazine as well as a best-selling gallery image.
