Cypress Cove is easily one of the most beautiful places on the California coast. It’s in a state park near my gallery in Carmel-by-the-Sea called Point Lobos Reserve, where on a Saturday, the line to get into the park can stretch farther than the people waiting in front of the Carmel Bakery in the late morning.
When you go there and experience the splendor of nature in all her glory, you can understand why.
The pristine turquoise water juxtaposed against the rustic cliffs, creates a very special place… one that attracts visitors from all over the world.
Cypress trees have been stoically shaped by the elements since the beginning of time, creating bonsai-like trees that have a very serene beauty.
This shot is one of my favorites because it captures the beauty that so effortlessly surrounds Carmel and extends through the magical forests of Big Sur.
